Description
The Fox FX-103 MB Niolox Black Yute Micarta Knife is designed by German knife maker Markus Reichart. The blade is made of Niolox steel, a German type of tool steel that is relatively rustproof, but when exposed to salt and acids, can leave a little stain. When it comes to maintaining sharpness, Niolox can be compared to D2 steel, but it is higher strength, has a finer texture and is easy to sharpen. The handle is made of Micarta, with a great steel finger guard detail at the top of the blade. The end of the handle is reinforced with a large lanyard hole for attaching a paracord.
