The Fenix TK15R rechargeable torch redefines smart lighting with the introduction of IRIS X technology. Designed for high-risk situations such as search and rescue (SAR) operations and law enforcement, this torch features a built-in ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness. By detecting the light reflected back towards the user, the TK15R instantly adjusts its output from a powerful 2,000 lumens for long-range scanning to 30 lumens for close-up tasks. Whether you’re moving from a remote wooded area to checking an ID card, the system adjusts automatically, eliminating the need to switch manually between brightness levels. Need more precise control? Turn the mechanical switch to Duty mode to manually select from five fixed brightness levels, including a massive maximum output of 3,200 lumens with a beam range of 490 metres. Between missions, Lockout mode ensures your torch remains switched off until you need it, preventing it from being accidentally switched on in your holster or bag. Constructed from A6061-T6 aluminium, with dual internal springs and IP68 water resistance, the TK15R is as robust as it is intelligent. IRIS X technology

A light sensor is built into the torch’s reflector, facing the direction of the light beam. Based on the ambient light data recorded by the sensor, the torch automatically adjusts its brightness, thereby reducing glare caused by reflections. As a result, not only are users’ eyes protected, but search efficiency is also improved. When ambient light levels are below 5 lux (for example, in a dark wasteland), the torch operates at maximum power (within thermal limits). When the illuminance reaches 70 lux (for example, in a large indoor space), the output is reduced to approximately 1,500 lumens. When the ambient light level reaches 100 lux (for example, in a small office), the output is reduced to approximately 800 lumens. When the illumination distance is less than 10 cm (for example, for reading), the output is reduced to approximately 30 lumens.
