WUBEN G5 RGB EDC Light 400 lumens Yellow rechargeable torch

Description

The WUBEN G5 edc light is a small keyring torch. The aluminium body is super-slim and the torch isn’t very big. It’s perhaps about as thick as a Zippo lighter. It seems that Wuben has taken the side-lighting option and its electronic/battery components from the X2 Pro series and used them to create this new torch. On the narrow side of the body, opposite the LED and the pocket clip, there’s a sliding switch that you can push forwards. You are now out of lock mode and can switch the G5 on by pressing the power switch just above this sliding part of the torch. Slide it all the way forward to access the USB port for convenient charging via USB-C. There’s no battery compartment to speak of, as it features a built-in battery that is neither accessible nor replaceable. That said, the Wuben G5 has an IP68 rating, meaning it can operate 2 metres underwater for 1 hour.

The whole torch fits easily into any pocket and has an adjustable pocket clip with an interesting design. If you pull the pocket clip, it releases enough to allow you to attach it to the front, side or back of the device. This gives you plenty of carrying options, should you ever actually use the clip. In fact, I prefer to carry the G5 in my front right pocket without using the clip at all. I simply love how small, slim and light it is, which makes it comfortable to carry all day long! The Wuben G5 is so flat that it won’t roll over, no matter how you position it. It also has a strap attachment point and a strap included for this style of carrying, if you prefer.
