The Mora Amberg Compact (S) is an elegant and versatile outdoor knife in a compact design, perfect for all kinds of adventures. It is lightweight, well-balanced and sturdy enough for everyday outdoor use – ideal as a more portable knife for day trips, camping and hunting. Designed to be worn on a belt and used in the field for hiking, fishing, hunting and camping. The short blade ensures high precision for woodcarving, fire preparation and other detailed work, whilst the ground back is compatible with a magnesium fire starter. A lightweight yet capable companion for all kinds of outdoor adventures. The Amberg features a carefully designed, flatter-shaped handle that suits a wider range of users and different grips. It tapers towards the front, with ridges running along the back for better control during precision work. The refined friction pattern has been laboratory-tested to ensure a secure grip even when wet, cold or greasy. The symmetrical sheath can be used by both right- and left-handers. The 77 mm blade is 2 mm thick and is made from Swedish stainless steel (12C27) with a hardness of 56.5 HRC. The combination of the steel and the Scandinavian profile grinding ensures high precision for controlled cuts and makes the knife easy to sharpen and maintain in the field.
