The Boker Plus Kihon Compact knife is compact, reliable and always with you. The American custom knife maker, Lucas Burnley, has embodied the concept of the Japanese Kihon in the design of the Boker Plus Kihon Compact. The term originally refers to the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley has incorporated into this smaller version of the everyday knife. Its features and straightforward design are testament to its high practicality and provide the knife with an ideal basis for everyday cutting tasks. The ‘spear-style’ blade, made from D2 steel with a ‘stonewash’ finish, opens silky smoothly via the thumb stud thanks to the ball bearings, whilst the crossbar lock ensures intuitive, safe and practical use of the knife. The EDC knife is exceptionally comfortable and well-balanced in the hand thanks to the lightweight yet sturdy GFN handle with its distinctive recessed squares. The orange anodised rings on the blade rotation screw and the large handle screw, as well as the thumb stud in the same colour, give the Kihon Compact an extra touch of style. It comes with a lanyard hole and a reversible wire clip for flexible carrying options.
