Description
The Helikon-tex Levanter Jacket is a lightweight, water-resistant rain jacket designed for outdoor use when the weather starts to do its own thing. Thanks to its DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating and inner PU (polyurethane) layer, the jacket protects against light rain and wind, offering a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm and breathability of 10,000 g/m2/24 hours-sufficient for moderate activity levels.
How does the Levanter differ from a classic jacket with a rigid membrane?
The Levanter is lighter, more compact, and simpler in design. It takes up minimal space and provides immediate protection when needed. A jacket with a rigid membrane will perform better during prolonged, high-intensity activity in continuous rain.
The Levanter’s thoughtful design includes a short 3/4-length zipper for easy on/off and extra ventilation, as well as a large “kangaroo” pocket with two-sided access and two zippers-ideal for carrying essential gear. The adjustable hood conforms to the shape of your head, offering additional protection from wind and rain.
