Description
The Helikon-tex Windrunner Pants – Windpack® Nylon are lightweight pants for outdoor activities that provide excellent additional protection against the wind. Thanks to their light weight and compact size, they can easily be packed into an inner pocket (called a “self-pack”) and carried in a backpack or larger pocket. The Windrunner pants are made from very lightweight and durable WindPack® Nylon. This quick-drying fabric is also treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellency) finish. The built-in mesh panels provide good ventilation. They also serve as an additional layer of clothing, thereby increasing thermal comfort. The Windrunner pants are designed as an outer layer, making them ideal for wearing over regular pants. They feature four functional pockets: two upper pass-through pockets and two lower pockets, all with zipper closures. The waistband is adjustable via a drawcord with two stoppers, allowing for a perfect fit to your body shape. The double-slider zippers on the pant legs make it easy to put the pants on and take them off without removing your shoes and improve ventilation. A Velcro strip at the bottom of the leg prevents the zipper from opening and allows for width adjustment. The pants pair with Tramontane jackets to provide complete protection from wind and light rain. Additional paracord loops allow for attaching suspenders, and the loops in the pockets allow for hanging additional accessories such as gloves. Windrunners perfectly bridge the gap between regular pants and softshell versions like the Trooper.
