This model is available in 5 different grits: X – Extra Coarse; C – Coarse; F – Fine; E – Extra Fine; Extra Extra-Fine

• Extra-Coarse diamond (60 microns / 220) is needed for significant material removal on damaged edges.
  
• Course diamond (45 microns / 325), for quick restoration of the cutting edge.
  
• Fine diamond (25 microns / 600), for a razor-sharp edge.
  
• Extra-Fine diamond (9 microns / 1200 mesh) to polish and refine the cutting edge after sharpening with a coarser diamond.
• Extra Extra-Fine Diamond (3 microns / 8,000 mesh) ensures the best polishing of the cutting edge among all diamond abrasives.

The DMT FWCX (Coarse & Extra Coarse) sharpening steel is a double-sided, foldable diamond sharpening steel with two different grit sizes-extra coarse and coarse. This is one of the most popular models for all kinds of needs. When folded, it is covered by plastic caps that protect it from damage when not in use. Suitable for home, camping, and everyday carry and use.
