The HORI-ZONE REDBACK XR 80 libs pistol crossbow with magazine is the version equipped with a 5-round magazine, which allows a high rate of fire. The Redback XR is truly lightweight with compact dimensions, achieving a bolt speed of approximately 60 m/s and a draw weight of 80lbs. The Redback reloads extremely quickly and allows for rapid successive shots. What makes this magazine-fed pistol crossbow unique is that the magazine can be released with one hand and replaced with another loaded magazine. Individual spare magazines are sold separately. The comfortable pistol grip and adjustable foregrip allow for a secure hold on the Redback. The standard lower rail allows the front grip to be adjusted individually and is long enough to attach additional accessories. The Redback features a dual safety mechanism that prevents accidental discharge. The draw bar must be engaged before it is released, and the safety mechanism above the barrel must be disengaged before a shot can be fired. The strings are made of high-strength DynaFLIGHT 97 string from BCY.
