The Boker Solingen BFF Packlite knife is designed for those with an insatiable spirit of discovery. The Boker BFF Packlite Stargaze model expands Lucas Burnley’s successful BFF series with an exceptionally lightweight fixed-blade knife featuring a skeletonised construction, including sliding scales on the Richlite handle – an ultra-durable composite material made from FSC-certified or recycled paper and resin. The all-steel drop-point blade, made from CPM MagnaCut steel (with a hardness of 61–62 HRC) and finished with a black Cerakote coating, delivers uncompromising performance: it is exceptionally hard, incredibly strong, highly corrosion-resistant and designed to retain its sharpness for a long time. The elegant details – including a clearly defined ricasso (the unground section at the base of the blade), textured grip areas (jimping) and thermally coloured gold-finish fasteners – lend both visual sophistication and a sense of reliability in use. The weight-reducing holes in the Packlite’s handle embody Burnley’s philosophy of next-generation design (the so-called ‘post-tactical’ style), making this model a fully-fledged neck-carry knife with a variety of attachment and carrying options. Whether for everyday carry (EDC), tactical tasks or as a reliable spare knife, the BFF Packlite adapts seamlessly to any role. The set includes a precision-crafted Kydex sheath with a ‘bead chain’ lanyard. Handcrafted at the Boker factory in Germany.
