The Boker Solingen Bronco Mini CPM3V knife strikes the perfect balance between compactness and an unadulterated spirit of adventure. As the smaller counterpart to the highly regarded Boker Bronco, this impressive bushcraft knife is designed for unforgettable moments far from the daily grind – from the first breath of fresh morning air to the glow of a crackling campfire amidst unspoilt nature. The drop-point blade with a high-set bevel (‘saber-style’) is crafted from CPM 3V powder-metallurgical steel, renowned for its exceptional strength and fracture resistance. Cutting, whittling and even light wood-splitting are well within the capabilities of this outdoor knife. Maximum stability is guaranteed by the full-tang construction (a blade that runs the entire length of the handle), which extends a few millimetres beyond the end of the handle, allowing it to withstand heavy impacts without issue when splitting wood by striking the back of the blade. A short section of the back of the blade has sharp edges at a 90-degree angle on both sides – the ideal solution for striking sparks using a magnesium rod. The handle is made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) in ‘forest green’; it fully encases the metal part and ensures a secure grip thanks to its non-slip texture. Durable, flexible and resistant to extreme temperatures, TPE ensures safe and comfortable handling, as well as a reliable grip in all weather and working conditions. The Bronco Mini’s natural home is in its specially crafted Kydex sheath, fitted with a clip for secure and comfortable carrying.
