Description

The Boker Daily Knives AK1 Drop Point N690 is a purpose-built interpretation of the popular AK1 concept. Designed in collaboration with the young knife maker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, this compact fixed-blade knife is designed for users who value durability, low maintenance and a modern EDC design. Born in Fulda, Germany, in 1993, Alex Kremer began making knives at the age of 18. His designs are influenced by Scandinavian landscapes and focus on clean lines, functionality and everyday practicality. The AK1 Drop Point embodies this philosophy in its purest form – compact, capable and designed for everyday use. The Drop Point blade, crafted from European Böhler N690 steel, is renowned for its solid edge retention, high strength and reliable corrosion resistance. This makes the knife ideal for everyday cutting tasks, urban EDC and light outdoor use. The black inlays on the Richlite handle give the knife a modern, technical look, whilst offering excellent durability and a comfortable grip. Richlite is highly resistant to moisture and temperature changes, making it ideal for everyday carry. The ergonomic shape ensures a secure grip and precise control. The lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be rotated and completely concealed within the handle when the scales are removed. This makes the knife slim and inconspicuous – ideal for discreet everyday carry. Handcrafted at Boker Manufacture in Solingen, Germany, this AK1 reflects first-class craftsmanship and precision manufacturing. The bespoke Kydex sheath with a belt clip ensures secure, lightweight and weather-resistant carry for modern use as an EDC knife.
