Peltonen knives are particularly well known for the Sissipuuko, a favourite amongst military personnel and desert travellers. The Peltonen Knives M23 Ranger Cubis the latest addition to the range; it is smaller, yet more compact and manoeuvrable than its larger predecessors. Whilst previous Sissipuukko models are more commonly regarded as survival knives, this smaller knife is ideally suited to more specific tasks such as cutting, carving and the many everyday tasks and challenges faced by a hiker or angler whilst out in the wilderness. N690 is a high-quality Austrian stainless steel, highly prized in the manufacture of blades where durability and reliability are essential. It is characterised by an excellent ability to retain the sharpness of the cutting edge and superb corrosion resistance, making it particularly suitable for outdoor use and in harsh conditions. In our knives, the steel is hardened to 59 HRC, ensuring a robust blade that retains its sharpness for a long time and is resistant to wear and rust, whilst still allowing for easy sharpening. The TPV handle material is a rubber-feel plastic that is resistant to wear, impact, chemicals and temperature fluctuations for virtually an indefinite period. The handle remains secure in the hand even in wet conditions. The knife comes with a Kydex sheath. The Peltonen Knives M23, Little Fork, is small but practical. It is an excellent EDC knife for all kinds of outdoor work and general tasks where you need a decent and, above all, safe knife.
