The Vosteed Kroc 329 S35VN G10 Black-Copper Dune knife is still a Kroc — just with a slightly longer blade and a fuller grip. The Kroc 329 features an 83.56 mm ‘sheep’s foot’ S35VN blade, providing a longer cutting edge than the original. The 32.35 mm blade width, sturdy tip and straight edge are suitable for everyday tasks such as opening tins, cutting rope or cardboard. The blade profile remains true to Kroc’s original design. The handle is made from aluminium to maintain the knife’s lightness whilst retaining a solid feel in the hand. Access to the hinge components is available from both sides, so the inlay can be removed without dismantling the entire knife. On the 329, the rivets extend further towards the end of the handle, giving the knife a slightly longer visual line. The larger handle offers a greater grip area, which may be useful for larger hands or when wearing gloves. The Kroc 329 can be opened using the thumb hole or the front flipper. The long thumb hole allows for one-handed or two-handed opening, whilst the front flipper provides a second opening method. The ceramic ball bearings in the hinge ensure smooth operation.
