The plastic gun is pump-action and fires a small amount of salt at a range of 30 cm to 1 m, killing flies, mosquitoes, and other insects. If the salt gets wet, please follow these cleaning instructions: Empty the reservoir as much as possible. /Fill the reservoir with water and let it sit for 15-20 minutes./Drain the water and fire 10 blank shots with the muzzle pointed toward the ground./Let it dry for 24 hours
