Description

Aquatabs® water purification tablets are tablets that are added to drinking water to kill most harmful microorganisms. The tablet dissolves within minutes and disinfects the water within 30 minutes.

Aquatabs® tablets are available in 8.5 mg tablets; 1 tablet is suitable for 1 liter. The tablets come in blister packs of 10 tablets with a shelf life of 5 years.

Aquatabs will result in a 99.9999% reduction in bacteria, a 99.99% reduction in viruses, and a 99.9% reduction in cysts (Giardia) within 30 minutes when used in clear water

Directions for Use and Dosage
Each tablet is dissolved in a specific volume of water according to the dosage schedule
Aquatabs® must be used with clear water. If the water to be treated is cloudy, it must first be filtered through a cloth until it becomes clear. If the water being treated comes from a known source (such as a municipal water supply), then the low-risk dosage may be used. In all other situations, the high-risk dosage must be used.
Make sure the tablet is fully dissolved (by briefly shaking the container or stirring). Wait 30 minutes for the disinfection to take effect, and then the water is safe to drink. Do not swallow the tablet.
