Description
Chris Ryan was born in 1961 in a village near Newcastle. In 1984, he joined the SAS. During his ten years of service in the Regiment, he participated in numerous military operations and commanded a sniper squad in one of the counterterrorism units.
During the Gulf War, of the eight-man squad to which he belonged, he was the only one who managed to survive and escape from Iraq. Three of the soldiers were killed, and four were taken prisoner. His escape is the only one of its kind in the entire history of the SAS. During the last two years of his service in the SAS, he trained future SAS personnel. In 1994, he left the SAS. Since then, he has worked in the security sector in various parts of the world.
Osama bin Laden is dead.
This fact is known throughout the world. It is also known to SAS Sergeant Joe Mansfield. He was in Pakistan, at the location where bin Laden was killed. He saw the Navy SEALs from Team Six enter his house and carry out the sinister cargo.
He was in the right place at the right time.
Or in the wrong place at the wrong time. Because someone wants to eliminate Joe and will stop at nothing until they achieve their goal. His family has become a target; his reputation is in tatters. And since this mysterious enemy is plotting and striking on both sides of the Atlantic, Joe knows that his only chance of survival is to find out what happened to Bin Laden on the night the Americans raided his house.
An invisible force has left traces that it is trying to erase. But Joe will do everything in his power to uncover the truth…
