Description
The Holosun AEMS 2/65MOA Aluminum/Solar/Circle/Red is a compact reticle with a lens area twice that of standard 20-millimeter micro models, providing a wider field of view. Its body is made of 7075-grade anodized aluminum. The AEMS features reversible glass lens covers, interchangeable MRS (Multi-Reticle System) reticles with a 2 MOA dot and a 65 MOA circle, a Solar Failsafe panel, and Shake Awake technology. On the side is a compartment for a 2032 battery, which provides up to 50,000 hours of device life. Holosun’s green super LED offers 12 brightness settings, 4 of which are night-vision compatible. Solar Failsafe technology is one of the many innovations included in Holosun’s solar-powered sights. With Solar Failsafe, if your battery fails, you always have a backup power source whenever natural or artificial light is available. Solar Failsafe operates in automatic mode, in which the reticle brightness adjusts automatically based on the amount of light the solar cell receives. In brighter conditions, the display is brighter, and in dimmer conditions, the brightness is reduced accordingly to adapt to all lighting conditions. On models equipped with a supercapacitor, the rangefinder can operate indefinitely in both daytime and nighttime conditions, maintaining its charge via the solar safety system without the need for a battery.
