Description

The Holosun SCRS RD 2MOA Solar is a technologically advanced SCS from Holosun, creating an entirely new, ultra-compact 20-millimeter reticle designed for carbines. The reticle features light sensors and an advanced mode for automatic adjustment of the reticle brightness, as well as a mode for manual control of the dot brightness. The SCRS-2 reticle is made of 7075 aluminum and includes a high-profile Picatinny rail mount. It features a system of interchangeable red reticles. This red dot sight offers a total of 12 reticle brightness settings, four of which are compatible with night vision devices, and a battery life of up to 50,000 hours. Solar Failsafe technology is one of the many innovations included in this and a number of other Holosun devices. With Solar Failsafe technology, if your battery runs out, you always have a backup power source as long as there is natural or artificial light available. Solar Failsafe activates in automatic mode, in which the reticle brightness adjusts automatically based on the amount of light the solar cell receives. In brighter conditions, the display is brighter, and in dimmer conditions, the intensity decreases accordingly to adapt to all lighting conditions. On models equipped with a supercapacitor, the instrument can operate indefinitely in both daytime and nighttime conditions, maintaining its charge via the solar safety system without the need for a battery.
