The Holosun SCS SIG 320 GR is designed for Sig P320 Optics-ready pistols or other applications marked DPP. It is designed to mount directly to the firearm without an adapter plate and utilizes Holosun’s innovative solar-powered system with omnidirectional light sensors for automatic brightness adjustment in dynamic situations. The SCS can potentially operate indefinitely, using an internal rechargeable battery with a capacity of 20,000 hours, which means that even with moderate exposure to bright light, you’ll never have to replace the batteries again. SCS also includes a brightness lock feature that locks the device in high-brightness mode for 30 minutes, and a low-power indicator that warns of a low battery days before recharging is needed. Solar Failsafe technology is one of the many innovations included in Holosun’s solar-powered sights. With Solar Failsafe, if your battery fails, you always have a backup power source whenever natural or artificial light is available. Solar Failsafe operates in automatic mode, in which the reticle brightness adjusts automatically based on the amount of light the solar cell receives. In brighter conditions, the reticle is brighter, and in dimmer conditions, the brightness is reduced accordingly to adapt to all lighting conditions. On models equipped with a supercapacitor, the sight can operate indefinitely in both daytime and nighttime conditions, maintaining its charge via the solar safety system without the need for a battery.
