Description

The Osight 3MOA is a red dot sight designed for sport shooting, training, and professional use, especially for pistols. Its main advantage over traditional iron sights, aside from its speed, is that it allows you to keep both eyes open and focused on the target; even when the pistol is held up to your eyes, you can still see the target. The dot remains precisely on the target, allowing you to aim without shifting your focus (with iron sights, your eye must be aligned with the front sight). The green 3 MOA dot, wide brightness settings, long battery life, and large objective lens make this sight a great companion, especially in fast-paced situations. What’s more, it’s much easier to locate the reticle in awkward positions than with iron sights.

A stress test involving more than 10,000 rounds ensures that the red dot sight will withstand heavy use, and the sight’s alignment remained unchanged during this 10,000-round test. The Osight is powered by a built-in battery, which allows the sight to be lightweight and sleek while offering an exceptionally long runtime: when set to night vision mode, it can operate for a staggering 70,000 hours. Similarly, in Mode 10 (the third brightest setting), for example-which is sufficient for sunny conditions-the continuous operating time exceeds 1,700 hours (more than 70 days).

What makes this scope special is that it is the first model on the market with a charging cover. Many scopes come with a protective cover to safeguard the scope when it is not in use. In the case of the Osigt, the cover also functions as a charger and power bank: the laser rangefinder automatically charges to full capacity when the cover is in place. The 800 mAh battery allows the sight itself to be charged from empty to full three times. This, combined with the sight’s exceptionally long operating time, ensures that the battery never runs out, as the cover extends the operating time fourfold. For example, when used in the field, the cover can be replaced after each shot, allowing the scope to remain fully charged during storage.
