Description

DPM Recoil Reduction Spring for Glock Gen 4 Combat Pistols 17-22-31-34-35-37 is the standard version of the DPM recoil reduction rod, designed to accommodate 115gr and 124gr ammunition; it is also compatible with the aforementioned Type C models. This system operates via a complex multi-spring rod consisting of three springs to control the pistol’s functionality. It should be noted that the third spring, located within the rod, plays a crucial role in regulating the slide’s movement to prevent it from striking the frame. The system consists of two washers of different lengths and two outer springs. The washers primarily affect the recoil force when the slide is fully open, while the external springs primarily affect the slider’s closed position, ensuring that it is correctly positioned on the battery. The shorter washer provides a lighter buffering effect, while the longest washer provides the heaviest buffering effect. In addition, the outer springs also vary in length, with the longer spring contributing to heavier slider movement and a more secure lock compared to the shorter spring.
