Caldwell Ballistic Precision chronograph, featuring high quality and accuracy. It includes everything needed to capture reliable velocity data in one convenient kit. It includes a chronograph, a set of infrared LED lights, a tripod, and a custom carrying case, which conveniently holds all the components. The Ballistic Precision chronograph provides accurate velocity measurements across a wide range of shooting conditions. Greater accuracy was achieved through the use of a high-speed 48 MHz processor and by designing a circuit with an advanced data interface that allows each unit to be computer-calibrated at the factory after assembly. The end result is the ability to provide much better accuracy than other chronographs on the market (+/- .25%). Although technologically advanced, the device is designed to be easy to use, displaying velocity in feet per second or meters per second on the large built-in LCD screen. The chronograph can also transmit shot velocity data via the 15-foot audio jack cable (included) to a smartphone or mobile device. A free downloadable app is available that displays the velocity of each shot on the phone’s screen and records it along with other data identifying the load and environmental conditions. The app also automatically calculates the average velocity, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and velocity spread for consecutive shots. The data is stored and can be exported via email or simply retrieved for reference at a later date. The sunshades are exceptionally wide for better reliability on sunny days and are made of durable synthetic material. It measures from 5 to 9999 FPS. It features a 1⁄4-20 threaded insert at the bottom of the housing for tripod mounting and operates on a 9-volt battery (not included). Ideal for use with firearms, air guns, airsoft guns, paintball guns, bows, and crossbows.
