The Umarex Heckler & Koch P7 M13 airsoft pistol is equipped with a unique slide release lever, where the large lever on the front of the grip must be pressed to release the firing pin. The P7 did not have a traditional safety. While the early P7 had a magazine release at the bottom of the grip and a single-stack magazine, the P7 M13 is equipped with a double-sided magazine release next to the trigger guard and a double-stack magazine. With its fixed barrel, the real P7 was known for its high accuracy. The P7 was used, for example, by the German GSG 9. The GBB airsoft version is constructed as an all-metal pistol and features the same unique mechanism in which only pulling the lever allows the shooter to fire. The lever also functions as a slide stop. With a muzzle energy suitable for airsoft play (< 1.0 J) and a high degree of authenticity, the P7 M13 is an exceptionally appealing piece of firearms history for both airsoft players and collectors seeking something truly unique.
