Walkers Razor Electronic Comm Muff Bluetooth 23db Active Ear Muffs are next-generation model, combining advanced sound processing, intuitive menu navigation, and a wide range of electronic control features. Pvariable dynamic noise reduction automatically adjusts the compression time based on the intensity and duration of the noise level, rather than using conventional “fixed-time” compression. The result is improved hearing protection regardless of the sound environment. In addition, the XCEL 500BT allows the user to choose between four different listening modes, universal (for sound amplification), speech clarity (for distinguishing voices and improving verbal communication in noisy environments), high-frequency (specially tuned to hear the impact of a steel target at long distances), and Power Boost (amplifies sound in the volume range). All of these modes are accessible via the soft-button control panel located on the headband. Voice prompts for the entire menu allow the user to select the available operating modes. Bluetooth compatibility is another valuable feature. By pairing the XCEL 500BT with a mobile device, calls and notifications can be heard clearly even in noisy environments.
