Description
The EverActive 6F22 (9V) rechargeable battery with micro USB charging is a replacement for a typical single-use alkaline battery or a 9V (Block E) NiMH rechargeable battery. Compared to NiMH rechargeable batteries, the EverActive 6F22 Lithium-Ion has approximately twice the capacity, but operates at a lower voltage: 7.4V under load (for NiMH cells: 8.4V or 9.6V, depending on the number of cells in each pack). A unique feature of this product is that you don’t need a separate charger for it-all you need is a standard USB port or a USB power adapter with a microUSB connector. The battery can deliver up to 0.5A of current in continuous mode. Next to the microUSB connector on the bottom of the battery, there is a miniature LED indicator that glows red while the battery is charging and switches to blue when charging is complete.
