KeepPower P1634U2 3V is a Li-Ion replacement for CR123A single-use lithium batteries. Unlike standard Li-Ion rechargeable batteries, which operate at a voltage of 3.6V, the P1634U2 batteries are equipped with additional electronics that step down the voltage and stabilize it at 3V. An added convenience of this battery model is that it does not require a charger; simply connect it to a USB port using a cable with a micro USB connector. An LED indicator near the positive terminal shows whether the battery is charging (red) or fully charged (blue). The battery’s electronics include protection against short circuits, overheating, overcharging, and over-discharging.
