Nitecore NEW i4 Four – Cell Charger

The Nitecore NEW i4 four-cell charger is a new and improved version of the Nitecore i4 1. The charging speed has been increased by 100% compared to the i4. The NEW i4 is capable of delivering 1500mA to one of the four charging slots, which is a 100% increase compared to the i4 and effectively cuts the charging time in half. 2. Active Current Distribution (ACD) ACD technology enables active distribution of the output among the different slots. The output will automatically be redirected to the next slot when any of the batteries is fully charged. 3. Support for 3.7V and 4.35V batteries has been added. The NEW i4 supports batteries with a nominal voltage of 1.2V, 3.7V, and 4.35V, ensuring full compatibility with cylindrical batteries. Pressing the “V” button allows you to set the cut-off voltage for each individual slot. 4. IMR Battery Recovery Holding down the “C” and “V” buttons will start the battery recovery process. This feature is designed to recover deeply discharged IMR batteries, even when the voltage is measured at 0V. 5. Automatic Selection of the Optimal Current The NEW i4 automatically selects the optimal charging current for all compatible batteries upon installation. The charging current can be manually set to 1500mA by pressing the “C” button when charging high-capacity batteries, such as 18650 or 26650. 10440 and 16340 batteries, or similar types, are considered low-capacity batteries and are automatically charged at 500 mA. 6. Automatic Detection of Non-Rechargeable Batteries The NEW i4 can distinguish between non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries. Four LED indicators will light up when non-rechargeable batteries are inserted into its charging slots, and the charging process will be stopped. In addition, the NEW i4 features significant improvements in product integrity and heat dissipation. The built-in LCD display clearly shows the battery level as a percentage. The red LED turns on and off to indicate the switch between normal and fast charging.
