Description
The PENTAX VD 4X20 WP binoculars are the world’s first “three-in-one” binoculars. Featuring an innovative design, the Pentax 4X20 VD WP 3-in-1 binoculars can be quickly and easily converted from standard binoculars into two separate monoculars to share the experience with friends, as well as into a 16x telescope. Depending on the configuration in which you use the 4×20 VD, its performance will vary. For example: As binoculars, the minimum focusing distance is 1.5 m, but as a monocular, this distance drops to an impressive 50 cm. Similarly, the exit pupil is 5 mm in binocular/monocular mode and drops to 1.25 mm in telescope configuration. Designed for comfort and durability, the body features a rugged exterior coating and a ribbed grip that provide slip resistance. The body is sealed to JIS7 protection class, so you can continue using it if you get caught in a sudden rain shower or drop the binoculars into a puddle or shallow stream up to 1 m deep. When the VD WP is used by two people in a 2-monocular configuration, the included neck strap can be converted into two separate wrist straps for added security.
