DPM Recoil Spring for CZ 75 P09 LONG BARREL 4.53″ Combat Pistols The 9mm-40S&W DPM telescopic mechanical recoil reduction system is a direct replacement for the recoil rod and does not alter the pistol’s configuration. This system operates via a multi-spring assembly (3 springs) and controls the pistol’s functionality. The third spring contained within the rod controls the slide’s movement so that it never strikes the frame. The system includes 2 different spring plugs and 3 different outer springs. The dark gray spring plug provides a stronger buffering effect than the silver spring plug, which provides a lighter buffering effect (allowing the slide to slide fully open). The external springs come in different lengths, allowing the shooter to fine-tune the pistol’s open and closed positions (slide movement) according to their personal preferences.
