Description

The Exotac FireRod magnesium fire starter is the perfect tool for starting a fire. The ferrocerium rod is replaceable, so you won’t have to throw this tool away when it wears out. The FireRod has a simple design and offers enough space to store tinder or water purification tablets. Use the back of your knife to scrape against the magnesium rod. Many bushcraft knives aren’t rounded at the edges of the back, making them sharp enough to use as a fire-starting tool. Remove the top cap to reveal a small compartment containing two QuickLight wicks (included) or a fire starter of your choice.
