Description

The Exotac MatchCap XL waterproof match container is nearly indestructible and designed to store matches and other ignition materials. By integrating the red-phosphorus striker into the threaded portion of the capsule, we’ve created an innovative solution to the need for packaging individual match strikers. To ensure that the MatchCap is the best on the market, Exotac has added a hidden O-ring, a durable square thread, and high-end aesthetics to bring it all together. MatchCap can hold all sizes of matches-from standard kitchen matches to NATO lifeboat matches and even the extended storm-resistant matches. The O-ring keeps both the matches and the striking surface (for lighting inside the case) dry. For maximum match capacity, place most of the matches with the heads facing up and a few with the heads facing down. The MatchCap XL isn’t limited to just matches. When using Stormproof matches, the new design leaves 0.75 cm of space for storing match powder. When using kitchen matches, nearly half of the MatchCap XL is available for storage. Use the extra storage space for water purification tablets, powder, medications, fishing hooks, a first-aid kit, and more.
