Description
The Exotac QuickLight Fire Starter is a highly efficient, waterproof tinder designed to ignite quickly and burn hot to get your fire going when you need it most. This fire starter can be used with a magnesium rod, a match, or a lighter. Fluff up the end of the QuickLight to increase the surface area. Using any spark source, direct the sparks toward the end of the QuickLight. Once it’s lit, place it under your pre-prepared pile of kindling. For optimal performance, tear the powder apart and fluff it up-this helps trap sparks and increases the flow of oxygen. The sharp teeth of a flint wheel (such as the nanoSPARK) are a great tool for “combing” and fluffing up the tinder.
