The Nitecore EDC33 flashlight is the first of its kind in the portable lighting industry-a professionally engineered device with a multi-core integrated design for superior performance. Using UHi Fusion packaging technology, it combines a small but high-intensity main core with 8 auxiliary cores arranged together within a single LED, offering wide-range coverage, exceptional brightness, and flexibility for seamless switching between focused and diffused light. Full-lock mode ensures there will be no accidental activation during storage or everyday carry, while half-lock mode allows users to activate SEARCH and LUMIN SHIELDTM. Designed for intuitive use, the ergonomic design and layout of Rapid LockTM are tailored to enhance quick response in emergency situations. NITECORE takes a giant leap forward with the 4000mAh 18650 lithium-ion battery. Developed in partnership with an industry partner, the EDC33 features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh, offering a high capacity of 14.4 Wh with an energy density of 300 mWh/g. This capacity is equivalent to the energy provided by four CR123A lithium-ion batteries, effectively doubling the backup power so that users never have to worry about battery life. The EDC33 also features a Tactical Search mode with a coverage range of 450 meters. In this mode, its main LED emits a powerful 1,700-lumen beam capable of illuminating areas up to 450 meters away with an intensity of 54,500 cd. This performance surpasses that of many compact flagship flashlights, giving users the ability to identify distant objects or potential threats. The Tactical Search mode can be easily activated, even when the full-lock mode is engaged, which enhances rapid response in various unexpected situations. The EDC33 is constructed from military-grade 7000-series aluminum (7075-T6), one of the strongest aluminum alloys on the market. It offers an 88% increase in hardness compared to the standard 6000 series used in conventional flashlights, ensuring exceptional durability and a robust construction. Combined with a 1 mm thick textured finish, it also provides excellent grip during use. Other highlights include a stainless steel head and tail cap, a military-grade HA III hard anodized coating, an IP68 rating (submersible to 2 m), ultra-high corrosion resistance, and a 2-meter drop resistance, making it a reliable companion even in the harshest conditions. Packed with features yet surprisingly lightweight, the EDC33 weighs just 127 grams (with clip included), making it ideal for carrying in a pocket during daily use. It includes a DCP (Deep Carry Pocket) clip with a large opening and high-quality 550 paracord, allowing users to easily tuck the flashlight deep into a pocket and retrieve it quickly.
