Introducing the Vosteed Rook, the first flashlight developed in collaboration with Reylight.

The Rook is a compact EDC flashlight featuring a triple high-power LED with a high CRI. It is built with best-in-class components such as Nichia 519 and XPL HI LEDs, as well as sapphire lenses. Neutral 4000K light provides a uniform and smooth beam with accurate color rendering (CRI R8090), ensuring colors appear realistic without fading.The Rook is powered by a custom 1100 mAh 18350 lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a standard USB Type-C port for fast charging. Reverse polarity protection prevents circuit damage from incorrectly inserted batteries, and LVP (low voltage protection) protects the battery from over-discharge. It features a temperature control system: when the temperature reaches 55 degrees Celsius, the flashlight’s brightness immediately decreases. The flashlight body is made of durable aerospace-grade aluminum with high strength and oxidation resistance, featuring a hard anodized coating that is resistant to abrasion.

The Rook has 4 pre-programmed modes with different brightness outputs; by default, it ships in Mode 2-Moon, 10, 40, and 100% output. SOS and Strobe are available only in Programming Mode 4.

To enter configuration mode:
Press ON to turn on the flashlight, then half-click/tap the tail switch 8+ times until it starts flashing. (When you enter configuration mode, the light will flash once, then flash rapidly, flash twice, then flash rapidly, flash three times, then flash rapidly, flash four times, then flash rapidly, flash five times, then flash rapidly. This sequence repeats twice if no option is selected.) *The number of flashes indicates the number of the configuration option that needs to be changed.

Restoring factory settings:
Half-press/tap the tail switch during the rapid flashing after the fifth flash to reset all options to their default states.
