The Böker Urd XL D2 G10 knife is an enlarged version of the Böker Urd, designed by Dirk Hofmeister of Midgards-Messer. This knife comes straight from the realm of the gods-a sturdy fixed-blade knife designed to be worn around the neck with an elegant Kydex sheath. The Urd’s cleaver-style blade is made from a 5.6 mm thick piece of D2 steel. This is a type of tool steel that is similar to stainless steel but may stain when exposed to acids for extended periods. What makes Urd stand out is its handle, crafted from black and red G10 and reinforced with a light texture for added grip. At first glance, it might seem a little strange, but once you hold it, you realize just how ingenious this design is. Your fingers automatically fall into the grooves of the handle.
