The Vigtig 1095 Carbon Steel Micarta knife is a compact bushcraft knife designed by Dave Wenger. The blade is made of 1095 carbon steel, a rock-solid type of steel that is popular for survival and bushcraft knives. However, be aware that 1095 is not completely rust-resistant; although Böker has enhanced the blade with a coating, the ground edge will occasionally need a few drops of oil. The handle is made of Micarta, a durable material that feels great in the hand even in wet conditions. The Böker Plus Vigtig comes with an elegant Kydex sheath.
