The knife is crafted from a single piece of D2 steel with a sandblasted, satin finish. D2 is a durable type of steel that holds its edge well. It’s also easy to sharpen. Perfect if you use it every day! However, be careful with moisture and acids: D2 is not completely stainless. Always clean the knife after use, especially if it has come into contact with (fruit) acids, salt, or moisture.
