Description

The Cold Steel Recon Tanto is a large fixed-blade knife featuring a remarkable blade made from San Mai VG10 steel. The blade’s core is made of VG10, laminated between two layers of softer steel that absorb impacts, and the San Mai technique leaves a beautiful laminated line on the blade, right at the transition between the two types of steel. The handle is made of Kray-Ex, a rubber-like plastic that offers good grip even in wet conditions. The sheath is in Cold Steel’s Secure-Ex style. Durable, plastic, and ideal for both left- and right-handed users.
