Cold Steel’s Safe Maker 1 was designed by Lynn C. Thompson and, along with Safe Maker 2 are among the most popular daggers. The teardrop-shaped blade is made from a single piece of AUS8 stainless steel for maximum strength and a single-sided sharpening. The knife’s profile resembles “T” and fits perfectly in the hand, and the handle material, made of Kray-Ex absorbs impacts and provides comfort; it feels stable even with wet hands. The sheath from Secure-Ex securely holds the knife and is compatible with a Tek-Lock. A metal chain is included in the set if you wish to wear it around your neck.
