Description
The Fox FX-103 MB Niolox Black Yute Micarta knife was designed by German knife maker Markus Reichart. The blade is made of Niolox steel, a German-type tool steel that is relatively rust-resistant, but when exposed to salt and acids, it may leave slight stains. When it comes to edge retention, Niolox is comparable to D2 steel, but it has higher strength, a fine grain structure, and is easy to sharpen. The handle is made of Micarta, featuring a great detail: a steel finger guard at the base of the blade. The end of the handle is reinforced with a large strap hole for attaching paracord.
