The Hultafors HVK BIO Work Knife is a more sustainable version of our popular artisan knife. The handle is made of bioplastic, and thanks to its unique design, we’ve also managed to reduce the amount of material used in the handle. Overall, this reduces the environmental impact. The handle features a lanyard hole so you can secure the knife when working at heights. The blade is made of 2.5 mm carbon steel, hardened to 58-60 HRC. The HVK BIO offers the same strength and durability as our other artisanal knives. Thanks to the handle’s design, we’ve reduced plastic waste by 15 percent. The bioplastic handle reduces the carbon footprint. The handle is made of extremely durable bio-based HDPE plastic.
