The Hultafors OK1 Outdoor Knife is a sturdy fixed-blade knife. It resembles the Heavy Duty knife but is optimized for outdoor use. The black coating protects the carbon steel blade from rust. The back of the blade is tapered to ensure that using a magnesium fire starter is a breeze. The side of the blade features a five-centimeter ruler. The Hultafors OK1 is a great, budget-friendly option for bushcraft, survival, and other outdoor hobbies.

The blade is made of Japanese carbon steel. It’s a sturdy type of steel that you can easily sharpen yourself. It’s not stainless steel, so be careful with moisture and acids. The handle is made of polypropylene. This is a durable plastic that will last for years.

You can carry it with you in the included belt loop. It has enough room for belts up to 4 cm wide. You can also clip it to a button on your overalls. To do this, loosen the belt loop, press the button into place, and secure it. Very practical! This version, however, also features a deluxe carrying system. It features a plastic belt loop that accommodates belts up to 8 cm wide. The side has also been improved with an elastic lining. It has enough space for a magnesium lighter.
