This winning mentality is incorporated into the design and manufacture of the Speed Demon. With its slim construction and high-tech handle material, the Speed Demon is incredibly lightweight and has a futuristic look. The blade is made from Böhler M390, a premium steel that many knife enthusiasts consider to be the best of its kind. It holds its edge well and is highly resistant to corrosion. TRC has fully coated the blade from tip to heel with a matte black DLC coating. The flat grind on the blade was applied by hand. This is unheard of for a mass-produced knife like this one.
