TRC chose Ernest Hemingway as the source of inspiration for this design. A Nobel Prize-winning writer-everyone knows that. But his true passion was deep-sea fishing. He devoted most of his time to it. Hemingway’s class and character, as well as his love of nature, inspired TRC to create This Is Freedom. This Is Freedom is the bigger brother of the Classic Freedom. It has the same look, but is just a little bigger. Campers, anglers, and hunters can all use This Is Freedom perfectly. The micarta handle features deep grooves that provide a secure grip. By polishing the handle material, you create a look that is both sturdy and elegant. It’s also nice that the handle sections are quite thin. This makes the TRC This Is Freedom very compact on the hip despite its considerable length.
