The TRC Knives M-1SL knife is strategically positioned among the models in the Lithuanian manufacturer’s “M” line, incorporating the best features of a tactical knife, to meet the needs of a wide range of users engaged in various outdoor activities. The M-1SL is a sturdy tool with a full-tang construction; the M390 steel extends the entire length and width of the handle, to which the scales are attached. Full tang is the most durable type of construction for fixed-blade knives. The knife features a handle made of Micarta, a material that is resistant to moisture, temperature changes, most solvents and acids, and highly resistant to mechanical damage. The M-1SL comes complete with a black Kydex sheath. An innovative design feature of the M-1SL is its effective use with a magnesium fire starter. The back features sharp edges for efficient use with a magnesium lighter to achieve better results, but their sharpness does not pose a risk of accidental cuts, and a glass breaker completes the handle.
