The Böker Plus Hidden Release Trapper Appaloosa knife is a modern interpretation of a classic by Böker Plus. The original Trapper owes its name to the trappers who roamed the forests of North America in search of game. The knife’s design dates back to the 19th century and is characterized by its slim lines and the distinctive upper and lower bolsters on the handle. Instead of a thumb slot and a slide mechanism, the Boker Plus Hidden Release Trapper, as an automatic knife, uses its matte stainless steel bolster to open and release the satin-finished D2 blade by simply sliding it upward through the discreetly integrated lock in the bolster. The hand-polished scales on the handles, crafted from Appaloosa bone with its characteristic grain and brown iridescent coloring, create an unmistakable Western look and make each knife an absolutely unique piece. The clean lines are harmoniously rounded off by a clip that allows the knife to be carried deep in the pocket. That’s how a modern classic works!
