That is why he incorporates these concepts into his designs. The Sanjo knife is named after a Japanese city. Not only is the name inspired by Japan, but so is the design. Inspired by the Japanese Kwaiken knife, the Sanjo is a modern interpretation of this traditional design. Unlike other Böker Plus models, this knife is not manufactured in China, but in Japan. This pocket knife is the result of a collaboration between Böker and Japanese master craftsmen, renowned for their rich history of metalworking and craftsmanship. With a blade length of 8.7 cm, this knife is ideal for easy carrying. When closed, it measures just 11 cm in length and weighs 145 g. Opening the Böker Plus Sanjo pocket knife is extremely fast thanks to the front flipper, which allows for one-handed operation. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s truly efficient. The pocket knife is equipped with ball bearings, which make opening and closing it smooth and effortless. Once open, the blade lock ensures that the knife is secured and won’t close accidentally.
