His love for knives began after he received a slip-joint knife from the Boker Tree Brand series as a gift from his father, which ultimately led him to launch his own brand in 2010. The Mini Redencion 42a perfectly embodies Chávez’s philosophy: durability, robustness and exceptional craftsmanship. The Mini Redencion 42a features a drop-point blade made from CPM MagnaCut (61 HRC) – a powder-metallurgy steel renowned for its exceptional ability to retain a sharp cutting edge, as well as for its high hardness, corrosion resistance and strength. The decorative false cutting edges and the grooves on the back of the blade add both aesthetic appeal and better control during use. The ergonomic handle, made from matt black aluminium, ensures an excellent grip and comfort when carrying out any task. The Button Lock mechanism allows for safe and reliable two-handed operation, with the button controlling both the opening and closing of the blade. Unlike automatic models, this one uses a wave-shaped spring that keeps the blade under constant tension, requiring a conscious effort of the hand to open and close it. Distinctive features such as the titanium clip bearing a skull motif (a reference to the Mexican deity Santa Muerte) and the bright red backspacer with a concealed lanyard hole create striking accents, making this knife a truly unique and remarkable piece.
