It features an elegant finish and a sturdy construction. The blade with sliding hinges is made of 440C steel with a complex two-tone finish and a flat grind. It opens with two hands and does not lock. Unlike its historical predecessors, the Zenshin’s handle is not made from a single piece of folded metal, but from flat brass blanks with a Stonewash finish. The flat construction has no additional spacers and fits comfortably in the hand, with a lanyard hole. The Böker Plus Zenshin is a practical and attractive pocket knife for everyday use.
